I am currently offering reduced-fee clinical supervision for counsellors, psychotherapists, and arts therapists, whilst completing a Diploma in Supervision.
My approach is integrative and, at the request of supervisees, I can incorporate creative tools to facilitate greater understanding of the client work. As a member of both the BACP and the HCPC, I am very familiar with and adhere to both codes of ethics. I am able to support supervisees through challenging situations as a result of my current training, but also from my own extensive experience of working with many different supervisors over the past two decades.
My starting point is to take a personal and professional history from you as my supervisee and to get to know your style so that I can work congruently with you. My view is that the supervisory relationship is about not only my clinical responsibility for your clients, but also to support your progress and individuation as a therapist. I will be looking to understand your gifts and challenges, to gently encourage where there are edges or areas to develop, and offer a safe space to unpack your client work.
For therapists in their first 300 hours after qualifying, supervision will need to be scheduled weekly, and after that, supervisees may opt for fortnightly or more frequently.
My reduced fee is £40 per 50-minute session until April 2024, at which point this will rise to £60 per 50-minute session.
