I am a trained clinical supervisor for counsellors, psychotherapists, and arts psychotherapists.
My supervisory approach is integrative and, when useful, I can incorporate creative tools to facilitate greater understanding of the client work. As a member of the UKCP, BADth and HCPC, I strive to work according to their guidelines/ codes and I ask that my supervisees do the same with their regulating organisations.
I am able to support supervisees through challenging situations as a result of my supervisory training, and also from my own experience of working with many different client groups and supervisory approaches over the past two decades.
My starting point is to offer the opportunity to take a personal and professional history from you as my supervisee and to get to know your ways of working, so that I can work congruently with you. My guiding principle is to work in support of your development as a therapist. I will be looking to understand your gifts and challenges, to offer encouragement where there are edges or areas to develop, and to provide a safe space to unpack your client work.
For private practice therapists, I can advise re your clinical will and subject to specific conversations and written agreement, I may be able to take on the clinical executor role for you.
Supervisees are given access to a members page on this site, where I share resources related to supervision and private practice.
For therapists in their first 300 hours post-qualifying, supervision sessions will need to be scheduled weekly, and after that, supervisees may opt for fortnightly or more frequently.
My fee per 50-minute session is £80, and you are welcome to attend face to face in London N19 or online/ hybrid.
If you would like to find out more, please get in touch.
If you are in North London and interested in joining a f2f supervision group, do get in touch. My contracts are provided as downloads below.
